Light Transmission is an essential feature of BiPlastiq's platform. We are presently developing cutting-edge protocols to regulate the specialized light sources installed in both bioreactors and clinical applications

Additionally, we are committed to providing our In Vivo developers with the novel strategies for continuing treatment beyond the clinical setting. As such, our platforms for light emission must not only be mobile, but also implantable in order to provide our clients with convenient take-home, outpatient solutions.

  • Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) - implantable light emitters with unique properties that include being wirelessly powered, miniaturized, biocompatible and even biodegradable. 

 

  • Hydrogels - injectable, biodegradable substances that are capable of dispersing light within tissues (in a fashion similar to fiber optics).

 

  • Wearable Protocols - guidelines for designing wearable everyday devices capable of regulating, monitoring, and powering these implantable devices.
